JACKSONVILLE — A pair of Jacksonville men were arrested Saturday afternoon and charged with being felons in possession of firearms. Jacksonville Police Department Detective Travis Cearley said the call came in for the intersection of North Ragsdale and Lawrence about a man with a gun.

“Officer (Daniel) Burrow, Officer (David) Gayler and Officer (Greg) Compton responded to North Ragsdale and Lawrence and came across two black men,” Cearley said. “Jeffrey Mosley, 33 years old, and Leonard Ingram, 36 years old.”

Cearley said these men were located in conjunction with a vehicle identified by witnesses who reported one or more men moving around with firearms. He added contact was made and the men were identified.
