Liberty County deputies uncover yet another massive marijuana operation
Houston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; Liberty County officials have uncovered yet another massive marijuana operation, this one worth some $2 million.
A witness led Cleveland police and Liberty County sheriff’s deputies to several acres with more than 1,000 marijuana plants ranging form 4 to 9 feet tall off Texas 105 near Cleveland, Montgomery County Police Reporter says in a story on its website.
Authorities spent Sunday digging out the plants and the Tarkington Volunteer Fire Department spent two hours destroying the plants by fire.
