longview — Two people were shot in their car over the weekend by an unknown gunman in Longview.

The shooting happened around 1:45 a.m. Saturday.

According to the victims, the gunman shot several times into their vehicle before speeding away. They were not able to see the shooter, but did give a description of the getaway car. It is described as a white, four-door, smaller car with a missing right-side mirror, possibly a Honda or Toyota. The suspect is a black male.

Both people shot were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
