HOUSTON (AP) - A BP spokesman says two workers at the company's Texas City refinery have been hospitalized after suffering steam burns.
Refinery spokesman Michael Marr said the accident happened about 4:00 Tuesday night. The incident is being review as an accident.
Texas City Fire Chief Brud Gorman said the more seriously injured worker suffered burns to his torso, left arm and left leg. His condition wasn't immediately available.
BP's Texas City refinery was the site of a 2005 blast that killed 15 workers and injured 170. The refinery is under investigation for an apparent 41-day benzene release that coincided with BP's involvement in the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
