2 suspects arrested after alleged deadly conduct

On March 9, 2010 at around 12:02 p.m., Longview Officers were dispatched to
the 2500 block of Judson Road for a report of two armed subjects on a bicycle.

The victims reported to officers that two subjects had been riding a bicycle
recklessly in the middle of Skyline Drive and almost struck their vehicle. The
victim’s told the two suspects they should be more careful, which prompted one
of the suspects to draw a handgun and point it at the victims.

The suspects fled on the bicycle, but were located by Traffic Officer Tommy
Tatum at around 1:07 p.m. at the intersection of McCann Road and H.G. Mosley
Parkway. Officer Tatum located a handgun in the pocket of one of the suspects
and they were both arrested:

1) Arique Davion Bagby, date of birth 8-21-1992 of 3623 McCann Road Longview, was charged with unlawful carry of a weapon (Class A misdemeanor) and deadly conduct (Class A misdemeanor) and transported to the Gregg County Jail.

2) The second suspect was a juvenile who was transported to the Gregg County
Juvenile Detention Center and charged with unlawful carry of a weapon (Class A
misdemeanor).
No one was injured during the incident.
