2 Tyler men robbed at gunpoint

Two Tyler men were robbed at gunpoint while walking to their cars in a grocery store parking lot Thursday night.

It happened just before 9:00 p.m., in front of La Michoacana Meat Market in the 300 block of North Beckham Avenue.

Police tell KETK, the two victims were walking to their car when they were approached by two men asking to borrow their mobile phone.

One of the robbers then pulled out a gun demanding money. The two victims were not hurt and the robbers got away.

Police are on the lookout for two men believed to be in their teens or early 20's.

One alleged suspect is about 5'10" and weighs around 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a grey sweat shirt with black pants. The other man is about 5'5” and about 140 pounds. He was seen wearing a red, white and blue stripped shirt with tan shorts. 

Anyone with information regarding the incident are urged to contact the Tyler Police Department, at 903-531-1000, or Crimestoppers, at 903-597-CUFF (903-597-2833).

Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspects in this case.
