Pine Tree — Three people, including two incumbents, have filed for positions on the board of Trustees for Pine Tree Independent School District.

Terre Dunn, the board president, has filed for Place 4. Charley Peck, also an incumbent, filed to run for Place 5.

William Lewis Adamson III, who has not served on the board, has filed for Place 3. The Place 3 representative, Linda Davis, is not seeking re-election.

“I’m running again because I feel we are making some significant strides in continuing to improve our facilities and offering innovative educational programs,” Dunn said. “The major issue we’ll likely be dealing with is the continually coming to terms with whatever the state Legislature chooses to do in regard to school financing.”
