3 killed, 5 injured in ETX wreck

Three people died and five were injured after an early morning wreck on Monday in Bowie County.

At around 6:44 a.m., a van, carrying eight people, was taveling eastbound on I-30 when it rolled over near mile marker 189.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, three people were confirmed dead at the scene. Two victims were sent to a Texarkana hospital with minor injuries. Two people were also sent to a Mt. Pleasant hospital, one of whom will likely be transferred to a Tyler hospital, and one was flown to Longview.

The families of the victims have been notified, but names are not being released as of yet.

Really, Charles? Don't assume anything until the FACTS are released. You don't know that this was a mini van and you don't know that ANYONE in the van had a "lard butt." You know what they say about people who assume.....
