5 arrested after Palestine drug bust

PALESTINE — On May 17th, 2012, at approximately 1445 Hours, members of the Palestine Police Department along with the tactical team of the Anderson County Sheriff’s Department served a Narcotics Search Warrant at a residence located at 626 South Dorrance St.
Officers seized several grams of suspected cocaine, marijuana, PCP, and prescription medications as well as several items of drug paraphernalia. Additionally officers recovered two pistols on or near the property.
Several persons were arrested during the execution of the search warrant. Four of the five subjects arrested were arraigned by Justice of the Peace Thomas on Friday morning May 18th, 2012.
LaBarius Robinson, 18 and Kevin Birdow, 31, were charged with Manufacturing or Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1 >4gm <200gm, which is a First Degree Felony. Each received a $10,000 bond.
Other persons charged, who were at the scene at the time of the warrant execution were Isaiah Ringer, 22 and Diavonte Lockett, 18, who were charged with Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz. Each of these subjects received a $1,500 bond.
An additional 63 year old man, who was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, had not been arraigned at the time of inquiry.
