A boy who was critically injured in an East Texas crash has died in a Dallas hospital.

According to family members, Aiden Eynon, 5, was taken off life support Tuesday at Children's Medical Center. A second child, a girl, was in critical condition following the fatal two-vehicle wreck in Smith Co. early Saturday afternoon. The accident happened just after 12:00 p.m. on Highway 271, just south of FM 16.

Smith Co. DPS Troopers said a truck hydroplaned and ran into an 18-wheeler parked on the side of the road. The father and driver of the truck, Thomas Eynon, 43, was killed in the accident.

The third child, a 14-year-old girl, has been moved from Tyler to Dallas. Both girls are now in stable condition.

Sympathy cards can be sent to Elder Chiropratic Clinic. An account for the Eynon Memorial Benefit has been set up under Caroline Eynon at Texas Bank and Trust. A family fund has also been set up at http://www.gofundme.com/9toif4 and has raised more than $13,000, as of Tuesday afternoon.
