It's not every day an East Texan decides to go skydiving, let alone a grandmother. However, 85-year-old Sue DeCostanza is proving the sky's the limit at any age.

Her granddaughter, Jennifer Green, said, "I'm really impressed that she's actually going to do this. It's something she's always wanted to do and it's just really exciting". While her friend from Buckner Westminister Place said, "I'm so proud of her! I wish I had her daring, her courage".

Celebrating her 85th birthday, Sue tempted fate by jumping into thin air. Sue said, "Oh I felt like a bird"! Crossing this adventure off her bucket list, sue explained, "I was thinking about this for a long time".

Her trainers at Skydive East Texas say she handled the flight like a pro. Bryan Baggett, the tandem videographer, said, "Right before we were ready to go, I said, 'How you feel you ready to go?', 'Yea!', 'You nervous?', 'No', and she really didn't look it. I mean calmer than most she did not look nervous at all". Her personal tandem instructor, Rick Romano, said, "She did excellent. I wish they would all go that nice".

So Sue experienced this adventure surrounded by friends and family, supporting her the whole way. Her friend said, "I think it's a wonderful opportunity, and maybe it will inspire others to do the same".

The real questions remains: Will she do this again? Sue's response, "Oh yea"!
