A Fire In Overton Burns Several Buildings

A devastating blaze in Overton Monday evening.

Flames scortched an entire city block.

The fire started around 10:30p.m. at FM-850 and Rusk St.

A church, dry cleaners, peanut butter manufacturer and a mini van were reported burned.

There are no reports of anyone being injured in the fire.

Firefighters from Arp and Troup helped Overton crews battle flames.

Cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
