The 911 address maps in Cherokee Co. don't match up to the approved county maps, which can pose a big problem for police, and fire responders if they are dispactched to address, and it's wrong.

The Cherokee Co. Appraisal Distict Cheif Appraiser, Lee Flowers, and a team of two others have elected to make all the changes to the maps.

And there are a lot of changes.

And that is just what they have so far! Now Flowers is saying it is up to the Cherokee Co. Commisioners Court to approve all of the changes so that they can be updated in the digital system.

Flowers and his team have submitted the offical report with all the changes to the court, and not they are just waiting for the Judge to sign off on the changes so they can get the maps up-to-date.
