A plus for Lufkin: double digit spike in tax revenue
Sales tax revenues up in August
Lufkin — The Lufkin Daily News is reporting; year to year sales tax numbers show positive signs for the city.
Lufkin showed an increase of 13.1 percent, collecting $1,019,079 compared to $901,365 collected in August 2010.
City Manager: Paul Parker tells The Daily News, the numbers are a positive for the city.
