After being 'not quite himself' the first day, Romo getting sharper and moving better, Garrett says
Oxnard, CA — Cowboys coach Jason Garrett evaluated Tony Romo’s first few days of training camp and acknowledged that the quarterback’s first practice was only so-so, as some observers had suggested.
“Clearly, when he first started practicing, on the first day, he wasn’t quite himself,” Garrett said, looking back at the first three practices. “But the second day was better, the third day was better. He’s moving around. You see him getting away from the line of scrimmage, you see him reacting like he normally reacts.”
