Aircraft might be miniature, but thrills big at annual Longview Fun-Fly

A love of flying brought together about two dozen pilots Saturday, along with their radio-controlled planes, helicopters and even a flying lawnmower.

The East Texas Aeromodelers’ annual Spring Fun-Fly regularly attracts guests from as far as Shreveport and Little Rock, Ark., to show off their skills and learn from other pilots.

Dan Biggs of Gladewater said he took some time off from flying model planes, but he came to the fun-fly to “feel the fever.”
