TYLER - Tyler I.S.D. officials confirm there was an alleged death threat at Moore Middle School this week.

Officials say no one at the school was put in serious danger.

They also say the incident was taken care of immediately.

The student responsible for the whole thing was punished according to district standards.

An anonymous parent says she's upset with the way the situation was handled because parents weren't told about it.

"Parents need to be informed when things occur and I don't have to know names, just tell me that this happened, we did this, and your child is safe," she says.
