TYLER — According to the Gregg County Jail's website, Jose Alberto Mejia, the man Tyler Police say was videotaping young girls for sexual pleasure inside the Kohl's store on Friday, has a criminal past with indecent exposure. In 2009, Mejia was arrested for indecent exposure by Longview Police. In 2010, Mejia spent a little under two months in the Gregg County Jail for another indecent exposure charge in Longview, where videotaping was involved. Tyler Police say the 25 year old turned himself in to police on Wednesday. Mejia is booked in the Smith County Jail and is being held on a $50,000.00 bond.
