UPDATE: Mount Pleasant Police say at around 1 p.m. Sunday, a mother and her two children were kidnapped from Saint Michaels Catholic Church, 1403 E. First St. in Mount Pleasant, Texas.

Police say the three were taken by knife point by a known suspect from the parking lot of the church.

Police say they were then driven to a county residence where the mother and one child were released.

Ruby Zavala, 14, is still missing. (see below for more info)

The suspect, Jesus Ramirez, is said to be armed, dangerous and mentally ill. (see below for more info)

Police say "he is known to have an obsession with the victim."

An Amber Alert has been issued for Ruby Zavala of Mt. Pleasant in Titus County.

She is 14 years old has brown eyes, and black hair. She is about 5'0" tall and weighs about 120 pounds.

She was last seen May 5, 2013 at 1 p.m. with Jesus Ramirez, 22.

Zavala was last seen wearing a white top, blue jeans and tan shoes.

Ramirez has brown eyes and black hair. He is about 5'9" and weighs about 165 pounds.

He was last seen wearing Unk clothing, wearing a black ball cap.
