An Amber Alert issued for a missing teenage girl from Red Oak, which is in Ellis County near Dallas, has been discontinued after officials say she willingily went with her boyfriend.

Inez Ramirez, 16, had been missing since Monday at 10:00 p.m. Law enforcement out of Ellis County says Ramirez had packed a suitcase and willingly went with her boyfriend, Edgar Barron.

Sheriff Johnny Brown with Ellis County says he doesn't believe the girl is in any danger and she and Barron are headed to Mexico. He also is looking into why an Amber Alert was even issued for the incident.

Just my thoughts on this subject: There are 100's of children and adults that go missing everyday and Facebook is a wonderful venue to help put the word out in helping to find them...when ever we see the " PLEASE SHARE! AMBER ALERT " we all stop and read and paint a mental picture in our minds, but what troubles me is that they don't take it down when that person is found, it just continues to circulate long after...
