American Eagle to temporarily cut flights from East Texas Regional Airport

LONGVIEW — American Eagle Airlines is reducing weekday flights at the East Texas Regional Airport next month, while adding a weekend flight.
Gregg County Judge Bill Stoudt said the cutbacks are only temporary, from mid-November until April. He focused on American Eagle's addition of a Saturday afternoon flight, which Stoudt said has been an expressed desire of local air travelers.
All American Eagle flights from the county-managed East Texas Regional Airport connect to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.
