Tyler, TX (KETK) — On Thursday, a group of homeless veterans were given an opportunity to visit the Historic Aviation Memorial Museum in Tyler, all because a woman they had never met, decided to give back.
It was a chance see history they were all apart of, whether or not they served in air force.
That's due to the fact that they all expressed a since of solidarity, no matter what branch they served in.
Thursday, these brothers spent the day sharing stories, and expressing gratitude to the woman who made today possible.
Beth Anne Schmidt, a docent at the museum, offered to pay all of their way into the complex.
She says, money is no object when it comes to giving back to those who risked it all.
