Angelina County health officials warn about West Nile virus

With six confirmed cases of West Nile virus in Angelina County, local health officials are warning people to protect themselves from mosquitoes.

While there have been no local deaths due to West Nile, city and county officials are taking the confirmed cases seriously by implementing preventative measures, according to Lufkin Fire Marshal Steve McCool.
