Fire burning on Angelina and Nacogdoches county lines

Fire-fighters are battling a blaze in deep East Texas. It's on the Angelina and Nacogdoches county lines. A temporary command center has been put up about 2 miles from this fire to help centralize fire-fighting efforts. Plenty of food was brought in by the Red Cross... as fire-fighters still battle this blaze... which, officials say has spread further into Cherokee County.

Officials say almost 5,000 acres have burned... and the fire's around 35-percent contained.

But Sherriff Thomas Kerss says surprisingly the morale is quite high for this fire.

Watch the story above to receive full details on this fire and hear reaction from fire officials as well.

Don't know bout The Red Cross...The Community has been bringing/donating: Water,gatorade,eye-wash,money,and all kinds of food for 4/5 days. The R/C may have showed up Wed. but my family took sandwiches and water,etc..,Texas small communities take care of their Firefighters cause they are our children, cousins,

That might be why MORAL is High, They know we care!!!
