Some animals so hungry, they ate their own feces to survive

The Houston Chronilce is reporting; horses and other animals believed to have been neglected have been seized from a property in Liberty County, according to reports on Wednesday. Some of the animals were apparently so hungry, they ate their own feces to survive.

A total of 14 animals were turned over to Houston SPCA, KTRK says. And the animals reportedly included six horses, one donkey, two dogs, one cat and four pigs. The condition of the property was described as "deplorable." The animals were in bad shape, and SPCA representative Meera Nandlal tells KHOU most of the horses were emaciated.
