"Texas largest conveniance store" purchased land adjacent to the outlet center in Texas City

Houston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; the 350,000-square-foot outlet center at 5885 Gulf Freeway in Texas City opened the weekend of Oct. 19.

The center is a joint project between the outlet division of Simon Property Group, which owns Katy Mills mall and Houston Property Outlets, and Tanger Outlets, which has sites in San Marcos and Terrell.
