Longview — Area golfers won first place in five of the seven flights at Monday’s Ark-La-Tex Junior Golf Tour event at Longview Country Club.

Gladewater’s Ty Mesker fired a 69 to win the 16-18 boys flight, while White Oak’s Wyatt Zur placed third with a 76. In the 14-15 boys division, Longview’s Reed Fisher and Gilmer’s Jacob Benson each shot a 71 before Fisher won first in a playoff.
