Starts new job Monday

Lufkin — The Lufkin Daily News is reporting; The city of Lufkin named; Jason Arnold as its Parks and Recreation assistant director.

Prior to the Lufkin job, Arnold was Athletic Coordinator for the city of Harker Heights, just outside Kileen.

Arnold will be running all sports and recreation programs and special events.

He'll start his new post Monday.
