ARP - On Tuesday folks living in arp started seeing a boil water notice, and it started when...

"We had a construction crew hit a sewer line and he hit the top of an 8-inch line and so it burst it," said Dale Brown with the City of Arp.

We're told the water was shut off for several hours as samples we're collected and sent to be inspected. When it came back on, the problems weren't over.

The water situation in Arp isn't just effecting the folks that live there, it's effecting business like the Arp Food Store. Typically they have a pretty big crowd around lunch time but we're told, they were told early this Wednesday morning they couldn't serve anymore food or any more drinks until further notice.

"I can't cook, I can't serve anything."

Lisa Renfrow works for the Arp Food Store and things changed for her Wednesday morning.

"When I got here this morning I found out about it and someone came in and they shutdown all our food preporation."

Even though it's a big inconvenience for the folks of Arp, the city says there working on and are looking to have everything full operational soon.
