Attorney General Greg Abbott, who is currently running for that coveted Texas Governor's seat in Austin, made an appearance for a large crowd at a Tyler restaurant. Abbott grew up in Longview, Texas, and thinks it's about time an East Texan takes over.

Abbott is a strong advocate for protecting second amendment gun rights, and has fought for appealing Obamacare. Abbott said, "Already I have filed 30 lawsuits against Barak Obama, and I am not done yet". Abbott also believes in traditional family values, and desires to promote education.

In today's society, 63 percent of Americans believe unemployment is the country's number one problem. So one of Abbott's future goals, is to maintain Texas job growth. He said, "As Governor I will keep Texas number one in the nation for job creation. It doesn't matter how you slice it or dice it, Texas has created more job than any other state".

However his latest political move was the debut of a campaign against Democratic opponent, Wendy Davis. Within this advertisement Davis is portrayed as a flip-flopper who is not ready for office. To view the full advertisement, visit: .

Of course the best way to get your voice heard, is to vote for your representative. Early voting began Tuesday.

I've noticed Pete that those you don't agree with become racist, bigots, and anti-Semites. Could it be that you don't like Anglo Christians and feel secure name-calling knowing that you're in league with the media?

Agree 100%. It's a wonder these people have the mindset they do in the 21st C! Seems Texans have a clear distinction in their choice of candidates. As usual- it comes down to the lesser of two evils. RIP was bad enough- even G W Bush couldn't stand him; now this Neanderthal is to the extreme right of RIP.
None of the above sounds better all the time. But, I've cast a dissenting vote before & will again, against someone whose name is trouble.

Pitiful excuse for a man, let alone someone asking for votes to send him to the governor's shack in Austin using ranting anarchist ted nugent to say such incredibly disgusting and inflammatory garbage about the POTUS...having nugent by his side spewing vile and racist comments means, absolutely, that abbot agrees with every single word ted said...if this is what you want, Texas, have at it...elect this man, sign the petition, and secede from the other 49 states...racism is alive/well in Texas.
