Attorney representing ACORN video 'pimp' and 'prostitute' visits East Texas
Congress began cracking down on its funding to ACORN after its employees were secretly videotaped in a number of cities offering to help a man and woman posing as a pimp and prostitute to lie to the IRS and acquire illegal home loans

TYLER - The attorney representing a pair of young activists posing as a pimp and prostitute, giving ACORN fits, was in Tyler Friday to meet with East Texans.
Kelly J. Shackelford serves as Chief Counsel of the Liberty Legal Institute.
LLI was founded by Mr. Shackelford to fight for religious liberties and protect first amendment rights in the courts in Texas and nationwide.
As an expert in constitutional law, Mr. Shackelford has argued before the U.S. Supreme Court and Texas Supreme Court in addition to serving as co-counsel in numerous other U.S. Supreme Court cases.
He assisted the Texas Attorney General on the Texas Ten Commandments U.S. Supreme Court case.
Shackelford is representing Hannah Giles, the young journalist being sued by ACORN. Shackelford also serves as president/CEO of the Free Market Foundation which is dedicated to protecting freedoms and strengthening families.
