Austin — Austin police officials said the death of a man whose body was found in a sleeping bag Sunday near Austin High School is suspicious.

A passer-by called authorities about 1:15 p.m. to report the body, which was found in the 1700 block of Stephen F. Austin Drive just under the MoPac Boulevard (Loop 1) bridge , police said.
