Authorities charge 6th suspect in gang-related kidnapping case
June 28, 2009 - 7:04pm
ANGELINA COUNTY-A sixth suspect charged in connection to an Aryan gang-related kidnapping earlier this week has been booked into jail.
Ashley McLemore, 24, was booked by Angelina County Sheriffs and charged with aggravated kidnapping charges.
County officials say McLemore, along with five other gang members, are accused of kidnapping a woman Monday from a Lufkin residence and holding her against her will for several hours.
According to an arrest affidavit Stephen Dewayne Wallace, another member of the brotherhood who is currently serving time in jail, reportedly ordered the gang members to kidnap the woman because he thought she had set him up with police.
All the members involved have been charged with aggravated kidnapping and are being held in the county jail on a $500,000 bond.
