TYLER, TEXAS (KETK) — Dozens of East Texans attended the Brewer’s Ranch Auto & Cycle Show in Tyler on Saturday. Car enthusiasts came out to Rock ’n’ Roll for a chance to check out some sweet classics, all for a good cause for finding cures and saving children.
“The car show is benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and all the proceeds go to the kids, ” said Ronald Gorman of RG Car Show Productions.
RG Car Show Productions presents another great show, full of cash prizes and entertainment. Folks tell us they love see more and more car shows like this in East Texas, it’s giving them the chance to show their hot rods for kids.
“We’re really getting good donations for St. Jude’s and everybody is really doing well with it,” said organizer JR Brewer of Brewer’s Ranch.
Many East Texans share many reasons why love contributing to the cause. Tom Goulter of Chandler attends many car shows, “St. Jude’s provided free medical and a place for kids to stay”.
Shows like this not only get the family together but also gives the young ones an opportunity to take up a new hobby like Kayla Spencer, a teen who is showing her 1965 Mustang classic for the first time.
Organizers tell us they’re thankful for the turnout and are looking forward to the next show for another great cause.
