Banners now allowed!

TYLER-There are new details surrounding the flag-waving debate in East Texas.

Tyler officials will not hand out tickets for flapping banners that are clearly July 4th holiday decorations.

The code change comes one day after we mentioned how Cutter's Equipment was forced to take down their banners because officials said it violated the city's code.

City officials say they will be lax on the ordinance for the holiday weekend.
