Beacons to Help People Make Trip Across the Border
March 7, 2009 - 6:18pm
According to the Associated Press, the U.S. Border Patrol has recently placed a pair of emergency beacons in South Texas to help stranded illegal immigrants as they try to head North of the border.
The beacons were installed on power lines along the trail used most by illegal immigrants in Brooks County just East of Highway 281.
The beacons will alert authorities if an immigrant or anyone else finds themselves in distress in the rugged terrain.

My my my why don't we just have a medical facility right there as soon as they step on US soil(since we tax payers end up paying for their medical care) or heck even the Texas Employment Agency(since the illegals come onto our soil to take away jobs that Americans desperately need right now)? I mean c'mon beacons? That is so ridiculous!!! We might as well put out the welcome mat for them.

our benevolence will sink us in good feelings.

9 months agoAs long as the beacons lead the illegal aliens to the Border Patrol for capture; no problem.
The really compassionate thing to do is to actually build the fence that will stop them from coming or at least stem the flow to one the Border Patrol can control.
