Legal fight now involves the American Civil Liberties Union of Texas

The Houston Chronicle is reporting; some Kountze cheerleaders who want to continue to display Bible banners at high school football games have hired their own attorney because they do not want to be pitted against their school district in what a state representative this week called an effort at "imposing San Francisco liberalism in every community in Texas."

The great thing about America is our freedom of religion. I have friends who are Buddhists, Mormon, Catholic, Evangelical, Baptist, Methodist, Theosophist, Atheist, and some who hold Native American beliefs. Spending time with them talking and sharing our views and opinions of God has been one of the best experiences of my life. It's helped me be a better Christian and shed my Baptist prejudice's. Those kids should be able to worship as they see fit. Hey Teacher Leave Those Kids Alone!
