GLADEWATER — GLADEWATER — Christmas came early for the residents of the Truman W. Smith Children’s Care Center on Saturday — courtesy of more than 100 bikers.

More than 60 motorcycles led a convoy of vehicles from Outlaws Bar in Longview to the center in Gladewater, carrying toys for each of the residents.

The Truman W. Smith Children’s Care Center provides in-patient care for children with severe mental or physical handicaps.
