The 'Blazin Bike Ride and Toy Drive' held their 3rd Annual toy drive at the Children's Advocacy Center of Smith County on Saturday.

In recent weeks, hundreds of bikers cruised through East Texas counties to bring smiles to kids faces this Christmas.

"A lot of the toys that have been donated will go to our families, we service children zero to three, this is one of the biggest to be able to give them toys on Christmas," said Andrea Smith, The Andrews Center.

These gifts will benefit the Children's Advocacy Center, East Center Crisis Center and The Andrews Center.

"This is the 3rd year the Blazing Bike and Toy Drive has chosen the Children's Advocacy Center as a beneficiary of the toy drive and we are just so grateful because aren't only available to our children here at the center but also to all of the CPS investigators within in Smith County," said Brenda Sanchez, Children's Advocacy Center of Smith County.

Local organizations want to thank East Texans for keeping the kids in their hearts this Christmas.

"Times are hard, and it's great that people are still in the mind set of giving even though there may be a struggle in their families, their own families," Keisha Morris, East Texas Crisis Center.

"We got bicycles we got remote control cars, we know a lot of kids don't have a lot of things but we want to give something back to our community," said Ken Mass, Mass Connections and Barber Shop.

"Christmas is the season of giving, we are always supporting anything that's dealing with children," said Tarla Bates, Public Relations Officer.

Brenda Sanchez, Community Educator says, this toy drive will make so many kids happy.

"We help children who are victims of child sexual abuse and severe physical abuse so what they need the most is love and to know that there's people out there who care for them," said Sanchez.

The kids will also know that Santa Claus is thinking about them.
