Bill Patman Dies of Stomach Cancer

A former texas congressman and state senator loses his battle with
cancer.
Bill Patman was elected to the Texas Senate in 1961.
He served 6 terms in the Senate until 1980.
He died Wednesday at the age of 81 after a battle with stomach
cancer.
