HOUSTON (AP) - Republican Rick Perry and Democrat Bill White have never lost a political election.  Today, that all changes.

Perry, who is already the longest-serving governor in the state's history, could be brought back for a third four-year term.  Or voters could replace him with White.

The Texas governor's race tops the ballots this year.  Across the Lone Star State there are 32 congressional seats up for grabs, as well as half  where half of the Senate and the entire House.
