Last August we brought you the story of a blind man in Bullard who was building his family a house from the ground up.

He is now eleven months into the project and says he is just a few weeks away from moving in.

He has received help from outside sources, such as a group of volunteers who installed the roof, but for the most part, it's been Graham, who says he is only taken three days off from the project since it started.

He says he has hung 98% of the dry wall, and put in most of the doors and windows himself.

The cold winter weather did slow him down a bit, since he cannot work with gloves on, because he needs to be able to feel what he is doing and where he is going.

But he says nothing is going to stop him from finishing this house, and hopes others who hear his story will be inspired to chase their dreams, no matter what hurdles the face.

It's not just gonna fall in your lap, you have to take a step toward it, and just hopefully somebody will be encouraged and say that 'I can'," said Graham.

Graham also taught himself how to hook up the plumbing in the house, although he let a professional hook install the electrical system.

He says he will contact KETK when the house is finished, and give us a grand tour.
