Body found burning in Houston park
HOUSTON — A report of an apparent grass fire in a Houston park has led to the discovery of the burning body of a woman.
Houston police are trying to identify the woman found dead early Wednesday. An autopsy has been ordered.
Police say two people driving by George Bush Park saw the fire on the side of the road pulled over to call for help, then realized
a body was on fire.
Police describe the victim as a woman in her late teens or early 20s, wearing dark pants, athletic shoes and possibly a white shirt. She wore a black leather belt with floral cut-out designs and silver studs.
