LUBBOCK, Texas - The Associated Press reports--

Officials have positively identified a body found beside a remote Texas High Plains road as that of a 15-year-old Lubbock girl missing for weeks and initially thought to be a runaway.

The Lubbock County medical examiner plans to reveal what caused the death of Elizabeth Ennen at a Wednesday news conference.  Police Captain Greg Stevens said Tuesday that police were obtaining a murder warrant for the father of Elizabeth's boyfriend, 45-year-old Humberto Maldonado Salinas Jr.

He already is being held in Lubbock County Jail on an aggravated kidnapping charge in the case.

Elizabeth's body was found in a field not far from the road near Shallowater, about 10 miles northwest of Lubbock.
