Why doesn't Smith Co. have a policy regarding this kind of infrequent weather? In climates used to this, ALL non-essential vehicles are strongly URGED to stay OFF the roads, as pile ups, and cars getting stuck will impede essential vehicles. As in ambulances and fire trucks. They are allowing a scenario to develope where lives could be lost, and homes destroyed. My boss seems to think there is nothing wrong with coming to work and doing non essential jobs. But my employement will not pay for me to get towed out, fix vehicle damage or pay for any injuries to me.
Tyler seems to have the same attitude. People are driving as if nothing as happened, there is intense tailgating behind drivers.
Poor planning and a general lack of care reinforces to the rest of the world the general low intelligence of southerners.
Please guys, thinking does not cause pain. Try it sometime.
