LONDON — (AP) - Kate Middleton, the new duchess of Cambridge, says that she and Prince William had a great wedding day, in her first public comments since their marriage.
 

In remarks to a photographer, as she and William arrived at Buckingham Palace for an evening reception, Middleton said, "I am glad the weather held off. We had a great day."
 

She and William were returning to the palace for a dinner with about 300 relatives and friends.
