Longview — Blue Santa may truly be blue this year after thieves stole about $1,000 worth of donated Christmas toys and decorations from the Longview Police Department’s Blue Santa program, according to Police Area Representative Misty Ryan.

The theft occurred between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Nov. 22 at Green Street Warehouse, a storage facility in the 2100 block of Green Street, according to police reports.
