Cass County Judge Charles McMichael has issued a disaster declaration for Cass County.

Due to lack of rainfall and hot and dry conditions, Judge McMichael has issued a burn ban for the county. An order has also been issued prohibiting the sale and use of fireworks and outdoor burning.
