Former President George W. Bush says he was pleased but not joyous when he learned U.S. forces had killed Osama bin Laden.

The Lancaster, Pa., Intelligencer Journal and New Era say Bush praised President Barack Obama for making the tough call to go after the terrorist mastermind in Pakistan.

Bush made the remarks to more than 2,500 people Wednesday at the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce & Industry's annual dinner.

The 43rd president was by turns serious and humorous as he spoke about the defining decisions of his presidency.

Bush defended his authorization of enhanced interrogation techniques. He also defended the $700 billion financial bailout plan of 2008.

Bush left office in January 2009. He has kept a low profile since returning to his home in Texas, working on a memoir and appearing occasionally at speeches.

Sorry Mr. President, but I have to disagree with you here. I'd be dancing on his grave if he had one, but since he doesn't, I'll just do a little jig in my living room. I know that this is not over and it was only one person, but I'm thrilled that our military was able to arrange a meeting between him and Allah! God bless our troops.
