Longview — The Longview Fire Department responded to three fires in the city before lunch on Christmas Day.

About 8 a.m., crews responded to a kitchen fire at an occupied home in the 3200 block of Norma Drive.

Two hours later, crews responded to a fire left unattended in a fire pit in the 600 block of Melrose Avenue.
